Equal and timely access to effective treatment for cancer patients across Canada is a consistent topic of concern that is being brought up by all stakeholders invested in cancer care outcomes, ranging from patients, pathologists to medical oncologists. The CPQA-AQCP hopes to shine a light on issues encountered by community, rural, and remote sites trying to bring emerging biomarkers and new testing modalities into practice. Panelists will be asked to share their experiences – from provincial funding structure to their thoughts on how they can be better supported. We also want to HEAR FROM YOU to help guide the discussion during our upcoming hybrid mini-symposium, Testing Struggles in Community, Rural, and Remote Medicine.

PLEASE NOTE: While bringing perceived barriers to light will be essential to initiate the discussion, it will be important for the CPQA-AQCP and panelists to take a focused approach to ensure that the group as whole, including non-panelists, can brainstorm potential solutions together.
